Active population by country

ranking

In this ranking, the number of people belonging to the active population category is shown, ordered from highest to lowest and pigeonholed in different countries.

It is therefore logical to think that number 1 is occupied by the total active population in the world with a total of 3,314,852,272 people. It is also notable as East Asia and the Pacific and, later, China occupy the following positions within the country category. In position 24 and 25 they occupy Europe and later the United States.

By definition, the term Active Population; They are all the people who contribute work for the production of goods and services during a specific period. It includes both employed and unemployed persons.

In Europe, the Labor Force Survey (EPA) is in charge of reflecting quarterly information about the labor force, as well as its various categories: employed population, unemployed population, active population, etc. The purpose of this survey, carried out by the National Institute of Statistics (in each country there is a different body that publishes official statistical data) is to regularly show the evolution of the main variables -in this case the active population- for decision-making by both private and institutional investors. The INE rigorously follows the methodology according to the standards of EUROSTAT, the European Statistical Office, to make the studies comparable with the rest of the countries of the European Union.

With 246 records, the following list shows, ordered from highest to lowest, the number of people who belong to the labor force category:
